The job on offer

Business Analyst within the Intelligent People Operations practice of Capgemini Business Services, working with clients to deliver world-class HR and People outcomes. This role sits within the Command Centre and will support meeting client needs through accurately eliciting and documenting requirements and then ensuring products including analytics dashboards are developed to exacting standards. The post holder will also undertake data analysis providing vital insight to Capgemini and client teams about their people.

Your role

- Lead and direct business analysis activities - using specialist / expert knowledge to select and advise on the most appropriate techniques to use
- Research and gather requirements across complex and senior stakeholders and multiple clients
- Create and develop requirements specifications for HR / People projects across a range of clients
- Lead requirements gathering workshops and client engagement sessions
- Facilitate the setting of business priorities for people data / analytics / change initiatives
- Act as product owner or support the product owner, turning a vision into detailed requirements for development
- Research, analyse and interpret business needs, considering the impact and benefits of new analytical tools
- Use client data and appropriate analytical techniques to derive actionable insight, compiling visually impactful and accurate reports
- Analyse current services and processes, identify and implement opportunities to optimise
- Review and make recommendations around data collection process to reduce manual intervention and leverage technology

Your profile

- Significant experience of working as a business analyst within highly complex digital / data programme environments
- Extensive experience in business analysis techniques and documentation including creation of use cases, user stories, wireframes, detailed requirement specifications, data and process mapping, requirements traceability matrices, business modelling
- Extensive experience of managing workshops and other requirements gathering activities with senior stakeholders
- Collation and elicitation of requirements information from a variety of sources, e.g. via interviews, workshop, data analysis and published material
- Understanding of data architecture, data models and relational databases
- Experienced in communication and stakeholder management at all levels to executive
- Experienced in working successfully within Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Detail-oriented expert with a strong analytical skill, able to apply analytical techniques to derive insight from data
- A self-starter and eager to learn new tools and technologies
- Work independently and as part of a team to design and develop solutions
- Demonstrating good organisational skills, work to tight deadlines in in fast paced environment
