This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading data and BI consultancy who are growing rapidly across their business, with a clear emphasis on the BI and Data teams. This expansion is due to growth within their client base as their quality approach and demand has increased for their unrivalled consultancy services. Unlike most consultancies, they are not a body-shop, they rely on an approach that is value adding for both the client and their consultants, ensuring aftercare and upskilling within is at the forefront of their services.

They are currently looking for a data engineer to join a team that has grown exponentially over the last 12 months, even throughout the pandemic. Their team hosts a mixture of skillsets covering Microsoft azure, PowerBI and other more unique toolsets within the data stack. With this eclectic knowledge, you will gain the opportunity to upskill in Azure at the very least and expand your skillset, working with some of the best Data Engineers in Manchester.

Also with 1 or 2 days per month on client site, this role allows for great flexibility and a catered approach to your work-life preferences.

The success data engineer should possess the following:

  • Experience of one or multiple core Data & BI Solution: SAS, SQL, Teradata, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot QlikView/QlikSense, Microsoft Stack (SSIS,SSAS,SSRS) and others.
  • Experience in multiple areas - Data Management, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Migration, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Project Delivery across advisory and technical delivery projects.
  • Demonstrated ability or experience of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience of internal people development.
  • Experience of leading people and teams on projects.
  • A willingness to upskill and learn new technologies that may be appropriate for the development of client capabilities.
