DevOps Engineer - Permanent

Location - London (Office/Remote working model)

Our client, a global bank, serves over 30 million customers, corporate clients and Financial Institutions in in over 30 countries. The businesses provides products of investments, saving loans and mortgages for their retail markets, as for their wholesale clients; they provide specialised lending, equity market solutions, sustainable finance solutions and many other specialised products.

The firm is now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their London based Tech squad ASAP (role is likely to split office and WFH) ASAP. This team is responsible for the maintenance and support of all the IT applications in all area the bank, both locally and globally. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for driving projects from conception to delivery. This role will require you to be involved in new projects as well as enhancing existing systems, migrating them too updated infrastructure, remediating software and their processes to the latest security standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with other members of the squad and other areas of the Bank locally and globally
• Guide remote resources of supply service to the squad
• Work in an Agile environment and work towards a CD automated pipeline

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a DevOps team providing Application support
• Hands of experience working in SQL, ASP.NET and/or C#
• Exposure to Java, MVC, Git and Visual Studio
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present to a range of stakeholders
• Strong organisation and planning skills
