Our client, a well-known, national provider of regulatory governance across the Financial Services market and one of the foremost authorities in the provision of these services and in the throes of wide reaching digital transformation and are looking to improve their current operations across the UK.

As a leading regulatory body in their market, they are now looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team ASAP. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for the building and operation of new cloud services with a focus on Salesforce & MS Dynamics 365 cloud infrastructure, as well the maintenance of platforms in accordance with the clients design and principles. This role will require continuous testing, defining and improvement of the new environments, frameworks, and procedures to optimise platforms and processes in support of Software Engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Introducing new cloud infrastructure services, partnering Software Engineers and Solution Architects, as well as Product teams
• Working on the optimisation of Salesforce platforms and services
• Operation and maintenance of cloud platforms (AWS)
• Testing changes to new environments to ensure their quality
• Defining best practices, frameworks, procedures and processes
• Using other technologies such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, ETC, Datadog and more

Criteria

• Proven experience working in DevOps teams, supporting platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamix265, as well as broader cloud infrastructure
• Hands on experience using collaboration tools with Kanban and Scrum teams
• CI/CD automation
• Proven experience with AWS or another leading Cloud services provider
• Strong problem solving skills; identifying root cause and preventative measures
