Head of Data

I am currently working with an established Manchester-based organisation who are looking for a Head of Data to join the team as they look to create a new Data & Analytics function within the business. The role will be relatively greenfield, with the Head of Data being responsible for orchestrating a brand new Data Strategy and Roadmap, assessing how the team will be set up and providing proof of concepts / recommendations to the board regarding tech implementation.

This is a senior strategic position within the business, with direct contact with board members and C-suite.

The successful Head of Data will have the following experience:

• Previous experience in a senior Business Intelligence / Data position

• Experience in the creation of Data Strategy / Roadmaps

• A solid understanding of BI / Data technologies and their architecture

• Experience in building / managing data teams

• Excellent communication skills - ability to converse comfortable at senior level

• Previous experience in greenfield projects highly desirable

The position id offering a base salary of circa £100,000 with potential to go higher for the right person. This is in conjunction with a strong benefits package including bonus. The role is situated in Manchester, however the business operate a flexible working model and so office visitations will be relatively minimal.
