Reporting to the Technical Director and Head of Development, your role as the successful DevOps Engineer is to ensure my client designs, engineers and delivers web application platforms to support the rapid and safe development and release of high quality code. Example Responsibilities

They are seeking an experienced and qualified Data Centre / Infrastructure Technician to join their busy team in Wiltshire.
As a Data Centre / Infrastructure Technician you will be join a talented technical operations team and will be responsible for maintaining datacentre infrastructure and deliver on client requests.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
Manage all Datacentre related activities including adherence to policies, keeping documentation up-to-date and ensure security checking and validation are undertaken
Configuration management
Manager customer solutions by either providing the solution themselves or routing through an external supplier
Provide internal IT support as and when required
Accept and check all deliveries and the flow of assets
To be eligible for the Data Centre / Infrastructure Technician role, you must meet the following requirements:
All candidates must be resident in the UK for at least five years as this role includes undergoing and maintaining UK government security clearance.
Excellent knowledge and experience of process management; ITIL Foundation preferred
Experience of working within a Datacentre environment
Experience of working within a customer environment
Technically savvy; must enjoy and be willing to learn and understand a technical and customer facing business
Flexible and approachable; able to provide cover in the different Datacentre sites
Comfortable with working alone and as part of a wider team
Understanding of servers and storage desirable
Smart Hands support experience desirable
From a technology point of view, familiarity with the following systems and processes:
Windows Server (Apply online only) / 2016) and accompanying systems
SAN storage, RAID experience
UCS Blade servers and similar
Cisco products and services
Experience with firewalls, anti-virus and security packages
Virtualisation tecnologies such as VMWare, vSphere etc - along with load balancing tecnologies
