Senior Data Scientist UK
Satalia (NPComplete)
Senior Data Scientist Role type: Full time Location: UK (Fully Remote) Preferred start date: ASAP About Satalia Satalia builds enterprise grade AI systems for WPP and its FTSE 100 client base. Led by WPP Chief AI Officer Daniel Hulme, we run as a high autonomy, decentralised organisation where engineers and scientists own their domains end to end. We are building AI systems that operate on terabyte scale multimodal datasets to power the next generation of marketing intelligence. The Role Our current work includes: Agentic pipelines - multi step LLM systems with tool use, planning, and self evaluation that automate complex marketing workflows end to end. Domain adapted foundation models - fine tuning open weight LLMs (LoRA, RLHF, distillation) on proprietary WPP data for tasks like audience segmentation, creative scoring, and brand safety classification. Retrieval augmented generation - production RAG systems over large proprietary corpora (embedding models, vector indices, re ranking) that serve real time answers to client queries. Classical ML at scale - gradient boosted models, causal inference pipelines, and recommendation engines that run alongside LLM components in hybrid architectures. You will be the technical lead for projects across these workstreams: scoping the problem, choosing the modelling approach, building the training and evaluation infrastructure, shipping to production, and iterating based on live metrics. You are not handing off a notebook to an engineering team - you ship what you build. What You'll Do Design and run training pipelines - data curation, model selection, hyperparameter search, ablation studies - and be accountable for model quality on live traffic. Build and maintain production inference services (latency budgets, batching strategies, quantisation, monitoring) that serve WPP's global client base. Architect agentic AI systems: define tool schemas, orchestration logic, evaluation criteria, and failure modes for multi step LLM workflows. Work across the stack when needed - write the data pipeline, train the model, build the evaluation harness, deploy the service, and debug it when metrics drift. Set technical direction for your workstream: write design docs, make build vs buy decisions, and defend your approach with evidence. Mentor and set the quality standards for junior scientists. What We're Looking For 5+ years shipping ML models to production - you've dealt with data drift, silent failures, retraining cadences, and the gap between offline metrics and business outcomes. Deep, demonstrable expertise in at least one of: NLP/LLMs, computer vision, recommender systems, or causal inference. Hands on experience with LLM fine tuning (LoRA, RLHF, DPO) or building LLM powered systems (agents, RAG, structured generation). Strong software engineering habits - version control, testing, code review, CI/CD. Comfort with ambiguity. Many of our problems don't have a known good solution. Clear communication - you can write a one page design doc that is useful for both product managers and staff engineers. Nice to Have Experience with multimodal models. Background in marketing technology, ad tech, audience modelling, or media mix modelling. Publications at top venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR) or meaningful open source contributions. What we Offer Benefits - enhanced pension, life assurance, income protection, private healthcare. Remote working - café, bedroom, beach - wherever works. Truly flexible working hours - school pick up, volunteering, gym. Generous Leave - 27 days holiday plus bank holidays and enhanced family leave. Annual bonus - when Satalia does well, we all do well. Impactful projects - focus on bringing meaningful social and environmental change. People oriented culture - wellbeing is a priority, as is being a nice person. Transparent and open culture - you will be heard. Development - focus on bringing the best out of each other.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Pay Sustainability Engineering team, you'll help drive the long-term reliability, scalability, and evolution of our payments, financial and billing ecosystems. The team operates across two complementary tracks. The first focuses on firefighting and platform support, helping engineering teams navigate critical incidents, unblock complex technical challenges, and improve coordination across the broader payment infrastructure. Rather than acting as a delivery team for operational work, you'll provide technical leadership, platform-wide visibility, and guidance that helps teams resolve issues effectively and prevent recurring problems. The second track focuses on medium- to large-scale sustainability initiatives across the payments domain. This includes identifying technical debt, platform limitations, architectural weaknesses, and product gaps that impact the long-term health of the ecosystem. You'll lead initiatives that improve the resilience, maintainability, and scalability of the platform through thoughtful refactors, system redesigns, and engineering improvements that create lasting impact. As a senior engineer, you'll play a key role in defining what sustainability engineering means within the Pay organization. Through strong technical leadership, systems thinking, and a focus on sustainable engineering practices, you'll help build a healthier, more scalable payments platform that enables teams to move faster with greater confidence. Are you a Senior Software Engineer who thrives on real ownership? At Perk, we know that we feel most fulfilled when we can own the problem and the solution. This means taking responsibility for the entire lifecycle of a feature, from understanding customer pains with our product team, design documents, coding to deployment, and measuring impact. You will see how your technical decisions move the needle for our customers daily. We prioritize autonomy and pragmatism, giving you the space to solve complex problems without unnecessary friction. Engineering excellence here is measured by the reliability and simplicity of the systems you build to power a global platform. How we work At Perk, we believe the best work happens when great people come together in small teams, with a shared sense of purpose. You'll join a cross-functional squad where you have real ownership of a piece of Perk's domains, a genuine say in what gets built, and the autonomy to make it happen. Each team decides how to contribute to Perk's company goals. We care about impact, and we trust our people to deliver it. AI at Perk AI is embedded in how we work and what we build. On the engineering side, it spans the whole workflow: our Notion, Jira, GitHub and Slack are AI-connected so you get up to speed fast, and day-to-day it helps with specifying features, writing and reviewing code, and automated AI PR review on every pull request. When something goes wrong in production, AI surfaces context across systems quickly. We also embrace agentic coding, using AI as an active collaborator, not just a prompt-by-prompt co-pilot. We expect candidates to use AI tools in our coding interviews. The bar is understanding your code and owning what you produce. That reflects how we work every day. Some examples of what it means to be a Senior at Perk Shape the bigger picture. You won't just build features, you'll refine the what to build and why. At Perk, senior engineers are expected to go beyond the technical solution and focus on the problem itself. When a big change is needed in how our platform works, you'll be the one writing the design documents that lay the foundation. You'll become a guardian of your team's technical quality; spotting areas of investment, proactively managing technical debt, and making sure we don't let busy work crowd out the work that truly matters. At Perk, we believe in impact over effort: our customers see results, not the hours behind them. Your job is to make sure we're always investing our energy where it counts most. Lead across boundaries. Your influence won't stop at your own squad. You'll communicate complex ideas across multiple teams, proactively identify who needs to be involved, and drive alignment across the broader organisation. Raise the bar for everyone around you. Senior engineers at Perk are mentors, coaches, and bar raisers. Director - Software Publisher Services - Europe
Connor Consulting
Director - Software Publisher Services - EMEA "Are you looking for an opportunity to drive commercial growth, own strategic client relationships, and shape the future of software compliance advisory at a global level?" About the Company Connor Consulting International is a specialist advisory firm delivering software license compliance and advisory services to a global client base. We are in an exciting period of growth and organisational maturity. Our line of business is structured so that every person operates at their highest value: Directors focus on client outcomes and commercial growth, a dedicated delivery management function provides the operational infrastructure, and Account Managers and Technical Leads run day-to-day execution with genuine autonomy. The result is a firm where senior leaders spend their time on the work that matters most - growing accounts and winning new business. The Opportunity We are looking for a Director to take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts within our Software Publishers Services line of business. This is a senior commercial role: you will be accountable for the revenue, growth, and quality outcomes your clients experience. This is not a delivery management role. We have a mature delivery infrastructure - tracking systems, quality frameworks, structured escalation pathways, and a capable operations team - that handles day-to-day execution. Your focus will be on the outcomes that matter: growing your accounts, winning new business, maintaining senior client relationships, and ensuring the quality standard your clients receive meets the firm's expectations. The right person for this role is a commercially minded leader who has the confidence to step back from operational detail and trust a well designed delivery system, while retaining clear accountability for results. Key Accountabilities Commercial Ownership Full commercial authority across your client portfolio. You own all commitments made to clients on timelines, fees, and scope. Drive account-level growth and revenue extraction from existing contracts. Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Pursue net-new client acquisition through your professional network and market presence. A significant portion of your time should be directed toward new business development. Consult the delivery management function on capacity before finalising commercial commitments. You retain full authority to commit, and you own the delivery risk associated with your decisions. Strategic Client Relationships Maintain periodic senior-level touchpoints with your clients. Your presence is strategic, not operational. You are the firm's senior face to the client. Engaged in operational client matters only when escalation is required or when commercial conversations demand your involvement. Build and deepen the relationships that generate long term account value. Your Account Managers handle the day to day; you hold the strategic relationship. Quality Accountability Ultimately accountable for the quality standard your clients experience. The delivery function provides quality frameworks, checklists, and tracking; you are accountable for the results those systems produce. Hold your delivery teams accountable for the quality of every deliverable. When quality issues arise, you set the standard for what constitutes an acceptable resolution. Champion and reinforce the firm's delivery standards within your accounts. Consistent quality is a business standard that depends on leadership at every level. Delivery Oversight Final accountability on escalation decisions within your client portfolio. You are the decision-maker when issues escalates beyond the operations team's authority. Receive structured reporting on all active engagements across your portfolio. You do not need to be in every operational meeting - the delivery infrastructure gives you the visibility to make informed decisions at the right altitude. Retain final say on staffing decisions for your accounts. The delivery function assesses capability and recommends; you make the call. New Business Development Lead net-new client acquisition in the software license compliance space. Leverage your industry network, market knowledge, and relationships to build the firm's pipeline. Our organisational structure is specifically designed to free your time for growth activity. As the operations team runs delivery independently, you have the bandwidth to focus on the commercial opportunities that drive the firm forward. Contribute to the firm's market positioning and thought leadership in software compliance and advisory. What We Expect in Return This role carries significant authority and autonomy. With that comes a set of commitments we expect from every Director: Give the delivery function a forward view of your pipeline so they can plan capacity proactively. Last minute resourcing requests undermine the system that supports you. Consult on delivery capacity before making commitments to clients. This is not about seeking permission - it is about making informed decisions with the full picture. Be transparent about the state of your accounts. Visibility across the leadership team is how we catch issues early and support each other. Reinforce the firm's delivery standards within your accounts. Process compliance and quality frameworks only work when leadership at every level backs them. Collaborate openly with your peers. Share information, share best practice, and operate as a coherent leadership group - not as isolated client silos. Treat the delivery management function as a genuine partner. They provide the infrastructure that frees you to focus on growth; engage with them accordingly. How This Role Works Day-to-Day We have deliberately structured this role so you can operate at the highest level. Here is what that looks like in practice: Your focus Revenue, growth, client relationships, quality outcomes, strategic decisions Not your focus Day to day delivery management, project tracking, process design, resource pool management - we have dedicated people and infrastructure for this Your governance rhythm Structured weekly and monthly forums with the leadership team to review portfolio health, make decisions, and align on priorities. You receive the data you need to stay informed without being operationally involved. How you get visibility Through dashboards, structured reporting, and governance forums - not through attending every meeting. The delivery infrastructure is designed to give you confidence without requiring your presence in operational detail. When you step in When issues genuinely require your authority: material commercial risk, client escalations, staffing decisions, and significant scope or fee changes. Routine delivery is handled by your operations team. What your team handles Day to day client communication, project management, routine budget conversations, weekly tracking, and phase management - all owned by your Account Managers and Technical Leads. About You Experience & Knowledge Significant experience in software license compliance, software asset management, or software advisory services. You understand the commercial landscape, vendor licensing models, and the compliance audit lifecycle. Proven track record of owning and growing a client portfolio in a professional services or advisory environment. You have managed commercial relationships at a senior level and have delivered measurable revenue growth. Experience leading delivery teams in a matrix structure. You know how to get results through people who do not report directly to you, and you understand the discipline of stepping back from operational detail while retaining accountability. Understanding of major software vendors' licensing programmes (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM, or similar). You can speak credibly to clients about compliance risk, remediation strategy, and commercial optimisation. International delivery experience preferred. Our teams operate across multiple regions and you will be comfortable working across time zones and cultures. Leadership & Competencies Commercially driven. You think in terms of revenue, margin, and account growth. You see client relationships as commercial assets to be developed. Confident delegator. You trust capable people to execute and do not need to be in every meeting to feel in control. You lead through outcomes, not through presence. You work effectively with peers and support functions. You treat delivery infrastructure as something that enables you, not as overhead. You share information openly and engage constructively when issues arise. You make commercial decisions clearly and own the consequences. When delivery risk is flagged, you weigh it and commit consciously. Growth oriented. You actively pursue new business and are energised by client acquisition, not just client management. Quality conscious. You hold a high standard for what your clients receive and you hold your teams accountable for meeting that standard. Qualifications Degree level education or equivalent professional experience. Relevant industry certifications are advantageous but not essential (e.g., ITAM, SAM, vendor specific compliance certifications). Established professional network within the software compliance and advisory sector. What We Offer . click apply for full job details

Technical Programme Plan Manager
Haleon plc.
Welcome to Haleon. We're a purpose-driven, world-class consumer company putting everyday health in the hands of millions. In just three years since our launch, we've grown, evolved and are now entering an exciting new chapter - one filled with bold ambitions and enormous opportunity. Our trusted portfolio of brands - including Sensodyne , Panadol , Advil , Voltaren , Theraflu , Otrivin , and Centrum - lead in resilient and growing categories. What sets us apart is our unique blend of deep human understanding and trusted science. Now it's time to fully realise the full potential of our business and our people. We do this through our Win as One strategy. It puts our purpose - to deliver better everyday health with humanity - at the heart of everything we do. It unites us, inspires us, and challenges us to be better every day, driven by our agile, performance-focused culture. About the Role The Technical Programme Plan Manager is accountable for the integrity, feasibility and credibility of the integrated technical programme plan. Working in partnership with the Enterprise Transformation programme workstream leads and third-parties (SI and SAP) this role ensures the technical plan covers technology, data, integration, testing and technical deployment activities required to deliver the transformation objectives. The role acts as the single source of truth for technical planning and forecast confidence, challenging assumptions and surfacing risks early to protect delivery outcomes. Key Responsibilities Integrated Technical Programme Planning Build, maintain and govern the end-to-end integrated programme plan, covering technology, data, integration, environments, testing, cutover and stabilisation. Ensure coherent sequencing across technical workstreams, interdependent programmes and external partners (SI, SAP, other vendors as required). Maintain end-to-end traceability from SAP design decisions through build, test, cutover, and deployment sequencing within the technical programme plan. Ensure plans account for SAP environment readiness, including development, test, pre-prod, prod provisioning, connectivity and RISE dependencies. Act as the primary technical planning point of contact across workstream leads and delivery partners. Ensure plans reflect S4 specific test realities (including SIT, UAT, regression, integration testing, mock conversions, and defect remediation cycles). Dependency & Critical Path Management Identify, model and manage cross programme technical dependencies (SAP core, data, integrations, environments, third-party systems). Own and communicate early and clearly the true technical critical path, highlighting constraint drivers, bottlenecks and sequencing risks. Partner with the Deployment Lead to integrate technical cutover planning into the master programme plan, including rehearsals, dress rehearsals, data freezes and "go / no go" windows. Assess and articulate downstream planning impacts across environments, testing, deployment waves, and resource demand. Ensure technical cutover planning reflects operational and business continuity constraints, not just technical task completion. Plan Governance & Assurance Maintain full traceability between technical decisions, scope changes, assumptions and plan impacts. Own technical planning standards, assumptions, and integration of change control impacts into the master plan. Integrate and reconcile SI-provided SAP plans into the master plan, maintaining independence and transparency. Partner with the PMO Lead and Programme Governance Lead to enable decision ready conversations with leadership, focused on options, impacts and consequences. Progress Tracking & Forecasting Provide forward looking confidence assessments for S4 milestones (design freeze, test entry/exit, migration readiness, cutover) not just date forecasts. Track delivery performance against plan and produce credible forward looking forecasts (not just retrospective status). Integrated risks, issues, and mitigations into the plan in partnership with RAID owners. Continuously stress test plans for feasibility, capacity, sequencing and risk. Profile & Experience Expert in integrated, multi year transformation programme planning across technology, data, integration, testing and deployment streams. Deep capability in critical path analysis, dependency modelling, and constraint management in complex programmes. Strong understanding of S/4 HANA delivery including design to build traceability, SAP specific testing cycles, deployment wave patterns and cutover constraints. Strong understanding of programme governance, including design authorities, stage gates and executive decision forums. Able to translate strategic intent and governance decisions into executable, time phased delivery roadmaps. Able to influence without formal authority across business and technology leaders; confidence challenging plans and assumptions constructively. Able to communicate complex technical planning realities in clear, decision grade language. Able to present options, trade offs and consequences clearly to senior leadership. Equal Opportunities Haleon are committed to mobilising our purpose in a way that represents the diverse consumers and communities who rely on our brands every day. It guides us in creating an inclusive culture, where different backgrounds and views are valued and respected - all in support of understanding and best serving the needs of our consumers and unleashing the full potential of our people.
