A significant portion of the role involves working with product usage and adoption data, partnering closely with Engineering and Product to connect customer behaviour, feature adoption and platform health to commercial outcomes. You will use AI tools (Claude, coding assistants and others) to rapidly prototype, automate and deploy business processes, dashboards and lightweight internal applications. A core expectation is to champion an AI first approach: using automation and emerging tools not just to make existing processes more efficient, but to help the organisation re imagine how we work. Key Responsibilities Revenue Strategy & Insight Deliver clean, reliable data and analysis on NRR, GRR, logo retention, expansion and churn, enabling commercial leaders to turn metrics into actionable strategy. Partner with Sales, Marketing and Existing Business teams to identify growth levers, segment trends and operational bottlenecks across the customer lifecycle. Analyse cohort behaviour, product adoption and revenue drivers, surfacing leading indicators that allow teams to act proactively. Translate complex datasets into clear narratives, dashboards and recommendations for senior stakeholders and the board. Revenue Operations, Process & Systems Act as commercial data and systems owner: define data models, governance, definitions and quality standards across Salesforce and associated tools. Design scalable workflows, playbooks and operating rhythms that support continuous growth, with an emphasis on automation over manual process. Drive Salesforce excellence where needed (structure, hygiene, automation), while recognising that Salesforce is one component of a broader AI centred stack. Build and maintain executive level dashboards (e.g. in QuickSight or similar) that provide real time visibility into pipeline health, forecast accuracy and business performance. Lead cross functional initiatives to improve commercial efficiency, reduce friction and accelerate revenue velocity, using AI and lightweight applications to connect systems. AI, Automation & Internal Tools Own and evolve the commercial tech stack (Salesforce and other tools), with a growing focus on AI connectivity, automation and "glue" systems that join data and workflows together. Use AI coding assistants and Claude to build small internal applications, scripts and dashboards (for example, tools to host and serve dashboards or automate data pipelines). Prototype and deploy AI enabled workflows for the commercial teams, such as transcript analysis, SDR enablement and campaign insights. Ensure seamless data flow between commercial systems, Finance and product/usage data systems. Stakeholder Management & Enablement Operate as a trusted advisor to the COO, CCO and commercial leadership, providing pragmatic, data grounded recommendations. Build strong cross functional relationships, influencing without authority to drive alignment and execution across Commercial, Product, Engineering and Finance. Essential 3-5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Data/Commercial Analysis, Product Analytics, Strategy, Operations or Software Engineering, ideally with exposure to commercial or revenue facing functions. Advanced analytical skills: expert level Excel/Google Sheets and strong capability in SQL and/or a BI tool (e.g. QuickSight, Looker, Tableau, Power BI). Confident working with APIs, databases and modern data stacks (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, cloud data stores), and comfortable learning new tools quickly. Comfortable working with product usage and adoption data, collaborating with Engineering and Product to analyse behaviour and inform commercial strategy. Demonstrable experience using AI tools (e.g. Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar) to accelerate analysis, build small applications or automate workflows. Proven ability to design processes, frameworks and documentation that drive operational excellence and can be owned by business teams once implemented. Excellent stakeholder management: confident communicating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams Structured problem solver with strong attention to detail and commercial pragmatism Desirable Background as a junior or mid level software developer or data engineer who enjoys business problems more than pure software engineering. Experience with AWS QuickSight or similar cloud based BI platforms. Junior Software Developer (Artificial Intelligence)
Oxford Economics
Software Developer (Artificial Intelligence) Department: IT Employment Type: Full Time Location: Remote, UK Description Oxford Economics, a leading economic forecasting and consulting firm, is looking for an ambitious, passionate Software Engineer with a strong interest in AI to join our Technology team and help us build, ship and scale the next generation of AI-enabled capabilities at Oxford Economics. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who writes great software, is genuinely excited by emerging technology, and wants to build tools people actively use. You will work across our Content, Data and Models teams, embedding alongside them to understand their workflows, identify where AI can make a meaningful difference, and develop practical solutions around real business challenges. The role will involve a mix of prototyping, software engineering, integrations, workflow automation, and productionising AI-enabled features across internal and client-facing platforms. This role suits someone who learns fast, enjoys solving problems across different domains, and likes building things that move from idea to production. You will work closely with engineers, economists, product owners, and business stakeholders across the organisation, helping shape how AI is applied across research, consulting, sales, and operational workflows. Key Responsibilities Design, build and ship production software that brings AI capabilities to OE's production teams including agents, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, conversational interfaces, internal tools and client facing features. Embed with delivery teams to understand their domain, identify high leverage opportunities for AI, and translate them into working software that genuinely improves how they work. Collaborate with Product Owners to establish business requirements and develop them into tangible deliverables, adapting based on the business needs. Build and operate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and other integrations that connect frontier models to OE's data, systems and workflows, including Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Azure and our proprietary economic forecasts and datasets. Take ideas from prototype to production end to end, owning the full software lifecycle: design, code, testing, CI/CD, observability, cost monitoring, evaluation and safe rollout. Apply solid software engineering fundamentals, clean code, testing, modularity, performance, security, to AI enabled systems, where quality and reliability matter just as much as anywhere else. Experiment with new models, frameworks and techniques as they emerge, and form a strong, well evidenced point of view on what is hype and what is worth betting on. Design evaluation harnesses and feedback loops so we can measure whether our features are actually working, and keep improving them as models and data evolve. Help shape OE's internal AI tooling, including Claude skills, internal MCP servers, shared libraries and the wider AI application framework. Embed AI safety, security and responsible use practices into everything you build, including data handling, prompt injection defences, and alignment with ISO 27001 controls and OE's AI Acceptable Use Policy. Contribute to internal AI enablement, share what you learn, run brown bag sessions, write up patterns and help colleagues across OE raise their own AI fluency. Stay close to the frontier: track research, model releases and ecosystem developments, and bring back what matters for OE. Internal Software Engineering / Product Owners IT Operations Business Development / Marketing External Frontier model providers (e.g. Anthropic) Cloud providers AI tooling and SaaS vendors Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Required 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, shipping production code in modern cloud environments. Software engineering fundamentals, clean code, testing, version control, code review, modular design and a feel for when to be pragmatic versus principled. Strong proficiency in C#/TypeScript, with comfort working across the stack from APIs through to lightweight user interfaces. Experience designing, deploying and operating cloud native services on Azure and/or AWS, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code. Demonstrable hands on experience building with large language models, including prompting, function and tool calling, retrieval augmented generation, and agent design. Practical experience integrating with model APIs (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI), with a clear understanding of cost, latency, context windows and rate limits. Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings and modern retrieval techniques, including semantic search, hybrid search and reranking. Knowledge of LLM evaluation: Understand the differences between LLM testing vs traditional software. Comfort working across multiple teams and domains, quickly building enough understanding of someone else's problem to develop something useful. A strong bias for shipping prototypes, you would rather get something working in front of users than polish it indefinitely. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain trade offs clearly to engineers, domain experts and senior stakeholders alike. Genuine intellectual curiosity, a tinkerer's instinct, and authentic excitement about where AI is going. Desired Experience using agentic coding tools such as Codex, GitHub Copilot and/or Claude code to ship production software. Hands on experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), tool and function calling, or agent frameworks (e.g. Microsoft Agent Framework, LangChain or custom orchestration). Experience building software that works with content, publishing or knowledge management workflows (e.g. CMS integrations, editorial tooling, document processing). Experience working with data engineering teams or building on top of modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, ClickHouse, Databricks, BigQuery). Experience deploying AI features into Salesforce, Microsoft 365 or other enterprise SaaS contexts. Exposure to fine tuning, distillation, embeddings training or other model customisation techniques. Background in machine learning, NLP, data science or applied research. Experience with prompt engineering at scale, including prompt versioning and structured prompt management. Familiarity with AI safety and responsible AI frameworks. Domain interest in economics, forecasting, financial services or research led businesses. Open source contributions, side projects, blog posts or other evidence that you build for enjoyment. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent practical experience. What Success Looks Like You ship. Working AI enabled software is landing in production regularly and being used by real people across OE's platforms and by our clients. Teams across the business see measurable productivity gains from the tools you build, research drafted faster, data more discoverable, model outputs more accessible, repetitive work automated. You are trusted by developers alike, people across those teams come to you for advice. OE's AI platform, including its MCP servers, skills, shared libraries and evaluation harnesses, is well engineered, observable and easy to extend. You become the go to person across the business for "can we do this with AI?", trusted to give an honest, well informed answer. New ideas reach a usable prototype in days, not months, and the path from prototype to production is short and safe. Colleagues across OE are more confident, capable and ambitious with AI because of how you work alongside them. Oxford Economics' AI capability is visibly ahead of the curve for a firm of our size and sector. Job Benefits Here are some of the benefits we offer in the UK to ensure you feel valued, supported, and thrive at work: Private Healthcare Employee Assistance Program Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Leave Workplace Nursery Scheme Cycle to Work Scheme Oxford Economics is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Salesforce Developer
Sideways 6 Manchester, Lancashire
Salesforce Developer Department: Engineering Employment Type: Full Time Location: Manchester, UK Reporting To: Daniel Wardin Description Interact provides enterprise grade intranet software that connects over three million employees to leading global names like Levi's, Domino's, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and Technicolor. Our team of customer focused problem solvers are passionate about helping organizations to communicate better. We do this together by constantly working to improve every service and product we offer. With offices in Manchester, New York, Dubai, Tulsa, and Warsaw, we operate across North America, EMEA, and Australia. Click on any of our vacancies and you'll see one thing in common - they all begin with this message. Why? Because at Interact we treat everyone with the same respect and honesty. Whether you're a developer fresh out of college or a seasoned salesperson, we live the motto that we uphold for our customers: our people are our most valuable assets. We are looking for a Salesforce Developer who will take full ownership of Interact Software's Salesforce ecosystem and drive its evolution into a highly scalable, secure, and business critical platform that powers sales, marketing, RevOps, customer success, and billing operations. In this role you will act as the technical authority for all Salesforce development, designing and delivering robust, future ready solutions that streamline end to end workflows, ensure correctness of data, safeguard data integrity, and integrate seamlessly with the wider technology stack. Through a combination of technical leadership, continuous improvement, and strong stakeholder partnership, you'll transform Salesforce into an optimised platform that removes friction, supports operational excellence, and accelerates the company's commercial growth. This is a lean, autonomous environment with high ownership and high expectations: you'll run initiatives yourself, from design through delivery, without relying on a large supporting cast or heavy programme structure. A little about you Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer in a product/SaaS or similar environment. Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and general SQL concepts (joins, indexing, query optimisation); broader software engineering experience beyond the Salesforce platform (e.g., a general purpose language such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#) is highly desirable. Hands on experience implementing/maintaining CPQ (configuration, pricing, quoting), including complex pricing rules and approvals. Solid understanding of Salesforce data model (Accounts, Opportunities, Quotes, CPQ objects, custom objects) and data governance. Comfortable working with large volumes of historical data that may not conform to current rules and standards - experienced at evolving validation, schema, and automation forwards while preserving backwards compatibility and not breaking existing records or downstream processes. Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, External Services, and common middleware. Strong testing discipline (unit tests, mocking, test driven patterns) and awareness of Salesforce governor limits. Security first mindset (OWASP, field level security, Shield encryption/monitoring familiarity a plus). Comfortable owning and running initiatives single handedly in a lean, fast moving environment - this is not a role that depends on a surrounding team, dedicated support functions, or heavily structured programmes; the right person skips the coordination overhead of working across a large team and simply gets things shipped. Familiarity with CI/CD (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps, SFDX, scratch orgs) and structured release management. Proficiency with LWC, Flow, validation rules, and process automation best practices. Excellent stakeholder communication: translating requirements into scalable technical designs and clear documentation. Diligent and detail oriented, with a habit of rigorously verifying their own work rather than assuming it is correct - testing, validating, double checking, and hunting for what may have been missed or slipped through the cracks before anything is considered done. Highly proactive and execution oriented - biased towards shipping and iterating rather than over planning, while staying thorough. We implement changes in hours/days, not weeks/months. A hands on engineer and problem solver who drives work through to completion rather than delegating problems onward - resourceful and self sufficient, finding ways to make progress and unblock themselves rather than waiting on other teams. Nice to Have Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist). Experience with revenue workflows (orders, invoicing, renewals) and subscription/usage based pricing. BI/reporting exposure (CRM Analytics, data lakes, or ELT tooling). Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise collaboration, or digital workplace solutions. Broader software engineering experience beyond the Salesforce platform (e.g., a general purpose language such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#) is highly desirable. About the role Design, develop, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and platform events to meet business requirements and performance SLAs. Own, manage and optimise CPQ pricing/quoting workflows (products, price rules, quote templates, approvals) aligned to commercial policies. Create robust SOQL/SQL queries and data transformations for data integrity, reporting, and migration tasks. Own data cleanliness and overall hygiene across the Salesforce instance - including validation rules, mass de duplication, clean ups, and ongoing data governance - and build trustworthy reporting and dashboards on top of a clean, well structured data foundation. Integrate Salesforce with internal and third party systems (e.g., finance, billing, marketing automation) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware. Own all go to market (GTM) integrations between Salesforce and connected systems - including HubSpot, 6sense, and other marketing, sales, and RevOps tooling - ensuring reliable, well governed data flow across the stack. Implement and maintain Salesforce Einstein and Sales Cloud intelligence features (e.g., Einstein Activity Capture) to automate data capture and surface insights for sales and customer success. Define and enforce secure, least privilege access via profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchies; support audits and compliance. Maintain documentation and diagrams around data flows, processing flows, etc. Translate user stories into technical designs, sequence diagrams, and acceptance criteria; contribute to grooming and estimation. Establish automated test coverage (unit tests >75%, integration tests), CI/CD pipelines, and release management practices. Monitor platform health (logs, governor limits, job queues), troubleshoot incidents, and drive root cause analysis and remediation. Produce clear documentation and enablement for admins and end users; provide level 3 support and knowledge transfer. Build and manage Flows to enhance usability and reduce manual work. Hunt for issues, anomalies, exceptions, data discrepancies, etc. (and fix them) Benefits 25 days annual leave (with the option to buy and sell additional days) Cycle to work scheme Access to Learning & Development platform Life Insurance Auto Enrolment Pensions Healthshield (Cashback on dental check ups and fillings, eye tests, physiotherapy, prescriptions and much more) Reimburse for usage of personal mobile phone Free Gym membership and Free Friday lunch for office based staff
