BI / SQL Developer

A global household name is looking for a BI Developer / SQL Developer to join their fast growing IT department. You will be working in a client facing role within a fast paced environment that is going through significant change. There is a rising demand for business intelligence to allow the stakeholders to make fast commercial decisions so the successful BI Developer / SQL Developer will have proven experience in using the MS stack and a passion for delivering quality solutions. This is a role which will suit an individual that has a 'can do' attitude and is keen to excel in their career. As well as development there will be some elements of business analysis. You will be joining at a very exciting time as the business has started to expand further across the UK with a drive to streamline their systems and applications. Role: BI Developer / SQL Developer Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP50,000 dependent on experience (incremental salary, 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme (rises with length of service), death in service, long service reward, paternity, maternity and adoption pay, bike to work scheme and sick pay) Location: Atherstone, West Midlands commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Derby, Burton-upon-Trent, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Lichfield, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Solihull, Walsall, Cannock, Stafford, Loughborough The responsibilities for the BI Developer / SQL Developer include: - Liaising with different teams within the business to define and document their requirements - Development of a variety of solutions using MS BI stack Skillset required for this BI Developer / SQL Developer role: - Microsoft SQL Server development experience - Experience of using the Microsoft BI stack - Excellent knowledge of SSRS (SSIS would be beneficial but not essential) - T-SQL (Transact SQL) experience - Business focussed - Enthusiastic, competent, and a get it done attitude - Methodical approach to your work Big Red are recruiting for this role exclusively and have interview dates booked.
