Embedded Software Engineer

One of the world’s fastest growing graphics and vision technology companies is looking to recruit an Embedded Software Engineer working predominantly in embedded C. Their technologies are featured in many of the world’s most dynamic products, including the latest smartphones, tablets and media players. The embedded software engineer role is a hands-on software engineering position developing embedded software at kernel-level, usually in embedded C. As an embedded software engineer you will be part of the growing team within the multimedia group focusing on developing and implementing additional features in software drivers. The embedded software development would involve modifying device drivers to enable enhanced operation, ensuring optimal graphics performance as efficiently as possible, and the porting of device drivers from a Linux based system to various embedded operating systems. This embedded software engineer role offers an opportunity to join a small but innovative team working with many of the big names in the consumer electronics industry, as well as a generous benefits package. You will need to have experience working with embedded software, in particular in embedded C, and a good working knowledge of kernel-level concepts.
