Python Developer - Contract

Your main responsibilities will include: - Delivering high quality, unit-tested solution components using technologies such as RabbitMQ, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Cassandra and Kafka - Participation in Sprint Design & Planning, helping to scope out requirements, agree designs and plan activities - DevOps activities using technologies such as Docker and Ansible - Working with customer data to find patterns and explore value opportunities - Investigating and fixing defects Essential Skills: - Strong Python development skills - Experience of developing RESTful services using Django - Knowledge of message queuing based systems - Experience of working in a DevOps environment using technologies like Docker and Ansible - Experience of working in an Agile team that uses practises such as TDD, Continuous Integration and peer review - Full software development lifecycle exposure - A demonstrable passion for technology and a wish to improve and innovate using the latest technologies Desirable Skills: - Experience / knowledge of IoT architecture & solutions - Experience / knowledge of the following technologies: Celery, Cassandra, Kafka, Apache Spark Further details regarding the role and company will be provided upon successful application
