Contract Software Developer

Role: Contract Software Developer Location: Central Reading Duration: 3 Months + My client are a leading tech SME and are in the process of developing a new platform. They are looking to for a Contract Software Developer to join their team in Reading to be involved in the build and development of the platform using a flexible choice of stacks. The Role: * Creation and ownership of microservices with a flexible choice of stacks * Lieutenant/Gatekeeper of remote team * Working as part of our resource service team (JSON API) * Support of PHP/JS services * DevOps * Microservice Architecture Must have: * Advanced experience in PHP * Advanced experience in JavaScript * Advanced understanding of S.O.L.I.D * Advanced knowledge of OO design patterns Nice to have: * Intermediate experience Laravel or Symfony 2/3 * Intermediate understanding of HTTP and Message Queues * Intermediate experience in API development using JSON as a data exchange format * Intermediate experience with bash and Linux * Intermediate experience with Docker * Intermediate experience with continuous integration * Intermediate experience with continuous delivery * Novice understanding or experience of microservice development Would also like * Intermediate experience with Kubernetes * Intermediate experience with AngularJS * Intermediate experience with Bootstrap 3 * Novice experience with GoCD * Novice understanding or experience AMQP * Novice experience in at least one of the following languages: * Go Lang, Python, Ruby, Haskell, oCaml, ML, F#, D, C, Nim, Rust If you have the relevant skills and experience required, and would like to apply, and for more information please call Jasmine Alderton on (Apply online only) and send your CV
