KH Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Aerospace Applications Engineer to join the vibrant Aerospace Team. Suitable candidates will have a proven ability to lead and assist technical activities at the forefront of engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support of company commercial activities in Europe both pre-sale and post-sale acting as first line technical support.
• Visit customers and provide onsite technical support.
• Lead and prepare webinars for technical audiences.
• Lead and assist in the preparation of technical workshops through creation of technical material (datasheets, presentations, etc).
• Assist sales teams globally to ensure commercial and technical software-related collateral is available.
• Provide basic and advance software training and demonstrations.
• Work with software developers to test new software for usability and quality and assist in gathering information and benchmark against the competition.
• Lead the development of training material and technical collateral.
• Provide 1st line technical support in our technical support website.
• Support consultancy projects when required (e.g. clean-sheet design projects, optimization, R&D, etc).
Your key challenge will include but will not be limited to providing global technical sales support, with special focus in the European market, in order to grow our customer base. You will have exposure to fields like FE, NVH or DFMA through taking part in activities ranging from providing software support or performing in-depth engineering analysis and consultancy through to taking a pivotal role in on-site sales meetings or customer training.
Key Experience:
• Experience in a related industry in a role with demand for strong technical skills.
• Experience of CAE/CAD (Catia, Pro/ENGINEER, Solidworks or similar) is mandatory and experience on FEA (ANSYS, NASTRAN or similar) and Matlab would be a distinctive advantage.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with an excellent academic record
