Junior Java Developer / Graduate Java Developer

ShortList Recruitment are working with an established software house based in Liverpool. Our client has experienced a sustained period of growth and they require a Junior Java Developer. The Junior Java Developer will work along side an established team of developers to further the product. This is a superb opportunity to develop skills and gain real time experience in web development. The Junior Java Developer will have a natural appetite and curiosity for software progression and development. The key sills and requirements for the Junior Java Developer are: * Working knowledge of Java Development and Spring Framework * An ability to write clean code * Experience of working with Java Web API's * Knowledge of SOAP/JSON/XML * An understanding of Agile practices * Hold a related degree grade 2:1 or higher * 1-2 years commercial experience * Experience of MySQL, Restful API's and AWS is preferable but not essential The Junior Java Developer will be actively involved in the evolution of the products and will be capable of communicating ideas. The Junior Java Developer will be capable of working as part of the team and independently. The Junior Java Developer will be bright, keen to learn more and will take direction from other team members. The successful Junior Java Developer will be rewarded with a salary of £25,000 and the opportunity to progress with one of the North West's most innovative software houses.
