NET Developer – autonomous working

NET Developer required for successful Scottish company - easily commutable location, just outside of Glasgow. You will have complete ownership of a mission critical system - this in-house application keeps the organisation at the top of their game and there is scope for a total overhaul. You will be given control to re-build the system as you see fit. The organisation are a medium-sized Scottish company - with circa 90 staff in total, but a small technical team. They are really at the top of their game in their specific industry - they have experienced steady growth over the past few years. This is a great opportunity for an experienced .NET Developer to take a step up and take ownership of their own product - there's real scope to do things your way. The system is built in C# and (url removed) - there are some auxiliary systems built in VB6 so any knowledge of Visual Basic would be an advantage. The company are based in North Lanarkshire, and are easily commutable from Bellshill, Motherwell, Hamilton, East Kilbride, Uddingston, Wishaw, Glasgow, West Lothian, Livingston.
