Job Description

Lead Insight Modelling Analyst Up to £70K Central Bristol My client is an established brand within the Financial services sector that have over 100 million customers & a 200+ year history. They put customers at the heart of their strategy and in order to continue improving their service, are reinvigorating their Customer Insight & Strategy team. To do this they are looking to expand their current team in order to target customers across a broader range of channels, specifically in the Digital space. We are looking for an experienced hands on Insight Analyst who can lead the Customer Modelling area, using SAS to build & deliver new statistical models. The successful candidate will need to have experience of providing meaningful & impactful insights into customer contact strategy rather than simply providing reporting outputs. As a guideline, the work would be split like this: 70% modelling, 20% strategy and 10% mentoring & coaching a small team from a technical perspective. You will be expected to manage both internal stakeholders & external suppliers of data. This role will suit someone who enjoys being more hands more on with the Data rather than being more strategic. Key Responsibilities: * Hands-on use of SAS to build model using customer data * Use of marketing data outputs; customer acquisition, retention, up-sell and cross-sell rates * Experience of mentoring & coaching a team on technical projects * Experience of influencing stakeholders within Marketing using insights drawn from data * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Able to lead external suppliers of data and ensure that SLA's are met * Innovative; Enthusiasm to work with new data sources, tools and techniques when required * Able to contribute to marketing plans across multiple channels and touchpoints Skills required: * Strong data analysis and modelling skills, gained with in a marketing environment, working with customer data * Demonstrable skills and knowledge of SAS OR WPS * The ability to work with R, with SQL Server desirable * Good knowledge of a range of modelling techniques (CHAID, regression and cluster analysis) and data visualisation consumer data * A strong statistical/mathematical educational background Package: My client offers a very strong benefits package including a performance-based bonus and contributory pension scheme alongside other common benefits such as company perks and discounts.
