DATA SCIENTIST – PERMANENT – LONDON Salary: £45k - £60k Start: ASAP Data Scientist (FinTech/Predictive Analytics/Neural Networks/Machine Learning/Natural Language Processing) Project Practice is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist with solid understanding/experience in Neural Networks to join a cutting-edge FinTech organisation based in London. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of tools such as R and a flair for understanding and implementing new technologies. Role: • Integrate multiple systems and data sets • Discover new insights via linking distinctive data sets • Work with incomplete data sources and clean data sets to be able to use them for connecting different types of data • Program in preferably different languages such as Python, R, Java, Ruby, Clojure, Matlab, Pig or SQL Requirements: • Masters’ Degree and / or PhD in Maths / Computational Science / Artificial Intelligence / Econometrics / Physics / Biostatistics / Computer Science / Applied Mathematics / Engineering • Deep understanding of Neural Networks, either depicted from an academic background or work experience • Familiarity with disciplines such as: Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Conceptual Modelling, Statistical Analysis, Predictive Modelling and Hypothesis Testing, Statistical Analysis • Experience in integrating multiple systems and data sets • Programming experience with either of the following: Python, R, Java, Ruby, Matlab or SQL • Understanding of Hadoop, Hive and/or MapReduce • Excellent client facing skills with the ability to communicate to large audiences If you are a passionate about developing a career in Data Science or are already a Data Scientist and keen to join a FinTech organisation, then this is the perfect role for you!
