Software Developer - Full Stack (PHP)

About the role Here at Dixons Carphone Group we are looking for a skilled and experienced software developer (PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS & JavaScript), to be responsible for the delivery of software projects to a very high standard across our new and exciting iD Mobile Platform. Adopting the team’s core values, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are being delivered on time and also fit for purpose. You will meet with the iD Mobile team to understand the strategic direction and work to translate these requirements into technical solutions. You will bridge the gap between the business and the technical department having a strong focus on development yourself. Our Software developers (PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS & JavaScript) would also be required to challenge developers & the business on concepts and ideas to make sure we’re adopting the best approach with all software development projects and offering our customers a truly unique experience. About you - Strong PHP & MySQL experience - Experience with HTML, CSS & JavaScript is essential - Ability to communicate with stakeholders at a variety of levels - Some exposure to project management techniques - The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Dixons and Carphone Warehouse have joined forces to create a new company for a new age.
