Font End Java Developer Public Sector Inside IR35 6 months

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Front End Java Developer to support the delivery of large-scale digital and technology services within the Public Sector.

You'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality user-facing applications using Java and React.js within a complex enterprise environment, taking ownership of development activities and contributing technical expertise across the wider delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality applications using Java and React.js.
• Build robust, maintainable and user-focused front-end solutions.
• Apply strong software engineering principles and development best practice.
• Work collaboratively with developers, testers and wider delivery teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve defects and contribute to code quality.
• Provide technical expertise and contribute to development and design decisions across the engineering team.

Essential Experience

• Strong commercial development experience using Java.
• Strong experience developing front-end applications using React.js.
• Experience delivering applications within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and development best practice.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working collaboratively within Agile, multidisciplinary technology teams.
