SSH & Linux Engineer - Contract

Working model: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
Contract: Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced SSH & Linux Engineer to join a specialist engineering team supporting secure access and privileged infrastructure within a large enterprise environment.

The role will focus on SSH security, Linux administration, privileged access tooling, discovery and automation, with responsibility for maintaining reliable and secure access across the estate.

You should have strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, SSH keys and certificates, SSH configuration, Bash/Python Scripting, Ansible/Terraform, PAM/IAM, RBAC, databases, CI/CD tooling and ServiceNow.

Experience with PrivX, Venafi TPP, SSH key discovery/remediation tooling or financial-services environments would be highly desirable.

Candidates should have strong practical experience in both SSH engineering and Linux infrastructure support.
