Backend Developer - Typescript/AWS/Serverless

Our Gov client are looking for a team of Backend Developers to join a huge public facing project that is used by thousands of citizens throughout the UK.

This role is due to start on 5th October.

Backend Developer:

• Essential skills for Backend Developers include Serverless architecture, Typescript, AWS and AWS Lambda.
• The client uses a mixture of Infrastructure as code tools: AWS CDK and to a lesser extend Terraform.
• The clients primary database technology is DynamoDB.
• The client uses the following CI/CD pipelines: Github Actions
• The client uses the following automated testing frameworks in production: automated testing, unit & integration/feature - ephemeral branch deployments to do this on - and using K6 for performance testing, conducted in AWS CodeBuild environments.

Gov background is highly desirable

1 day a week onsite - Manchester - every Wednesday

This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov.UK. If you are unable to meet this and any associated criteria, then your employment may be delayed, or rejected. Details of this will be discussed with you at interview.
