We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Data & Performance Officer to join our growing team and play a key role in improving data quality, supporting performance reporting and strengthening organisational assurance.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure BCHG's operational and performance data is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose.

Working closely with the Data Governance Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you will support data quality assurance activities, carry out validation checks, maintain quality logs and assist with the preparation of regulatory and performance reporting datasets. You will help identify data issues, support corrective actions and contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices across BCHG.

You will play an important role in ensuring BCHG has trusted data that underpins effective decision-making, regulatory compliance and service improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintaining data quality logs, error registers and remediation trackers.
• Supporting the production of data quality scorecards and assurance reporting.
• Conducting validation checks, audits and data quality reviews across key systems, processes and datasets.
• Identifying anomalies, trends and recurring data issues and supporting their resolution.
• Preparing and validating datasets used for performance reporting, benchmarking and regulatory returns.
• Maintaining documentation, validation records and standard operating procedures.
• Working with service teams to improve data quality and strengthen operational processes.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data accuracy, consistency and efficiency.
