Job Description

The Middle Office Aladdin Consultant supports the implementation of Aladdin across Middle Office operational workstreams, ensuring robust delivery discipline and acting as a key point of contact for operational delivery within a wider programme. This role focuses on business process re-engineering, configuration, testing, training, and pilot/parallel/go-live support to achieve a smooth transition to Aladdin and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Support Middle Office implementation activities across operational workstreams, including Trade Operations, Reconciliations, Corporate Actions, Fund Trading and Derivatives Operations.
  • Contribute to operational project plans and maintain implementation tracking tools to monitor progress and key milestones.
  • Provide regular status updates to programme leads and stakeholders, highlighting risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Lead or support business process re-engineering (BPR) workshops to review existing processes and define target-state operating models.
  • Document process outcomes from BPR workshops, manage follow-up questions, incorporate stakeholder feedback and support formal process sign-off.
  • Validate Aladdin configuration for Middle Office workflows and identify gaps required to support testing and operational readiness.
  • Ensure Middle Office readiness for user acceptance testing (UAT), pilot, parallel run and go-live activities.
  • Support UAT, pilot, parallel, go-live and post-go-live phases, including defect ownership, issue resolution and handover readiness.
  • Prepare training scripts and materials for Middle Office users and other stakeholders.
  • Support the setup and use of training environments, deliver or assist in training sessions and respond to business follow-up questions.
  • Coordinate activities and dependencies across Front Office, custodians, administrators, external providers, technology teams and programme governance forums.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder management throughout the programme, ensuring clear communication and alignment on implementation activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for operational delivery within the programme, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

  • At least 5 years' experience within Asset Management Operations, Investment Operations or Aladdin Middle Office implementation delivery.
  • Deep knowledge of one or more operational workstreams, including Trade Operations, Reconciliations, Corporate Actions, Fund Trading and Derivatives Operations.
  • Hands-on experience contributing to operational project plans and maintaining implementation tracking tools.
  • Proven ability to provide regular status updates to programme leads and governance forums.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead or support business process re-engineering (BPR) workshops.
  • Strong skills in documenting process outcomes, managing follow-up questions and incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
  • experience validating Aladdin configuration and identifying gaps to support testing and operational readiness.
  • Solid understanding of UAT, pilot, parallel run, go-live and post-go-live support processes.
  • experience with defect ownership, issue resolution and handover readiness in a project or programme environment.
  • Ability to prepare training scripts and support training environments for Middle Office and related teams.
  • experience delivering or supporting training sessions and responding to business queries.
