We support and enhance learning, teaching, research and administrative processes by providing information- and technology-related services to over 50,000 staff and students of the company and associated institutions.

We are modernising our technology foundations, digitising the processes of the university to transform experience for students and staff, and partnering across the university to drive differentiation in the company education and research.
IT Service and Operations manages the infrastructure and data platforms which underpin the company's central IT services, including data centres, cloud compute and storage platforms, networks, telephony, communications and collaboration and enterprise applications. In addition, IT Service and Operations provides an End-to-end Service Management capability, ensuring the company's IT services are relevant, responsive and resilient.
This position is within the company's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platform team. We are embarking on a crusade to revolutionise the way the University manages its relationships. Although our initial focus is on bringing benefit to the student world, our full remit is Enterprise wide and covers Alumni, Staff and the B2B world of research.
About the roleAs a Functional Consultant (internally a Senior Analyst Developer) you will be critical to customer delivery and be involved in business processes, solution design as well as hands-on configuration and customisation of MS Dynamics CE solutions working with development teams. You'll contribute to the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using your knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities working closely with client teams and business stakeholders.
You will organise, run and document workshops, meetings and requirements sessions with client representatives, project stakeholders and delivery teams to contribute to the resolution of complex problems through creative solutions. Additionally, you will deliver end-user training to clients and colleagues when required.
Your responsibilities will involve the following:
As an experienced CRM Functional Consultant professional, you will be skilled with in end-to-end implementations within an Agile ways of working environment as well as an understanding of the customer relationship management process and procedures combined with practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics 365 products and the wider Microsoft platform. You have functional experience in D365 CE configuration as well as standard customisation, workflows, dashboards, forms, views and standard reports development. Additionally, you have an ability to develop a clear understanding of clients' needs and incorporate them into a solution.

Although not essential, it would be advantageous if you have experience of LCS and Azure DevOps as would an understanding of the Power Platform capabilities and Business Intelligence. It would also be beneficial if you hold Microsoft Dynamics CRM certifications.
