Bauhaus Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers for ongoing projects within the education sector across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers looking for long-term, consistent work carrying out structured cabling installations in schools, colleges and universities.
Responsibilities
- Installation of Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A structured cabling.
- Terminating and testing copper cabling.
- Installation of containment including trunking, basket and conduit where required.
- Cabinet build, patch panel installation and patching.
- Labelling and documenting completed work.
- Working safely within live educational environments while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Data Cabling Engineer.
- ECS or CSCS card.
- Own hand tools and testing equipment (preferred).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
