Salary circa £65,000 - £71,000 pro rata. So circa £52,000 - £57,000 for 4 days a week.

Our client, a well established national charity is looking for a Digital Product Owner, to lead a community engagement platform through an exciting period of growth, as part of a major multi-year UK-wide programme, supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, helping thousands of local community groups across the UK.

You'll own the product vision and roadmap for a digital platform connecting community groups, volunteers and schools, translating stakeholder needs and CRM requirements into clear briefs, user stories and a prioritised backlog. You'll work closely with CRM, IT, analytics, design, development and research teams to keep the platform accessible, measurable and continuously improving - while supporting data quality, governance and adoption across the organisation.

You'll be accountable for:

  • Developing and maintaining the product vision and roadmap for the platform and related community experiences
  • Translating user needs, stakeholder feedback, CRM requirements and business processes into clear briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritised backlog items
  • Working with cross-functional teams to define scope, manage risks and support agile delivery, testing, release readiness and continuous improvement
  • Using CRM data, user insight and performance measures to improve journeys, adoption, data quality and benefits realisation
  • Leading stakeholder workshops and communications, helping teams understand delivery choices, dependencies and impacts
  • Championing CRM-enabled change across the organisation through clear documentation, training support, feedback loops and adoption activity

About you:

  • Proven experience delivering CRM-enabled digital products end-to-end - vision, roadmap, backlog, agile delivery, post-launch improvement
  • Strong data literacy and UX awareness, with a solid grasp of CRM data, integrations and customer life cycle principles
  • Confident stakeholder management and facilitation skills, comfortable balancing strategic thinking with delivery detail
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (CRM, business analysts, designers, developers, researchers)

Desirable: charity/not-for-profit sector experience, Microsoft Dynamics or CRM integration knowledge, experience with community/membership/engagement-focused products, familiarity with Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a high-impact digital product at the heart of a nationally significant community programme. If your profile matches the above, apply now for full details.
