The roleThis role sits within the Basecamp Technology group, providing specialised engineering capabilities and scalable components to our Research and Trade Technology groups. Join a high-impact team building a greenfield, in-house storage platform to replace a major external vendor dependency. You'll work on a multi-year programme starting with data orchestration and tiering, and evolving into a custom distributed storage system tailored to large-scale research workloads. This is a great opportunity to shape core infrastructure from first principles, with direct impact on performance, cost, and research capability.
