£80,000-£140,000+ (Permanent) | £600-£1,200+ per day (Contract)

Artificial Intelligence has moved beyond experimentation. Our clients are investing heavily in AI, and we're partnering with some of the UK's most innovative organisations to hire experienced AI Engineers who have already delivered AI solutions into production.

This is not a graduate, research or "software engineer learning AI" opportunity. We're looking for engineers with a proven track record of building commercial AI products that solve real business problems.

We are particularly interested in AI Engineers from:

• Financial Services

• Technology/SaaS

• Healthcare & Life Sciences

Industry experience is essential. You'll understand the regulatory, operational and technical challenges unique to your sector and have delivered AI solutions within it.

Typical projects include:

• Building AI agents and autonomous workflows

• Developing LLM-powered applications and copilots

• Designing enterprise RAG and knowledge retrieval platforms

• Production deployment of Generative AI solutions

• AI integration into enterprise products and business platforms

• Scaling AI systems across cloud environments

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Python

• OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama or similar LLMs

• LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen or equivalent frameworks

• RAG, vector databases and embeddings

• Azure AI, AWS AI or Google Vertex AI

• MLOps, CI/CD and cloud-native deployment

• Docker, Kubernetes and modern software engineering practices

What we're looking for

• 3+ years building commercial AI solutions

• Proven experience deploying AI into production-not just proof-of-concepts

• Strong software engineering background

• Experience working with enterprise stakeholders and cross-functional teams

• A track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through AI

Salary & Contract Guide

Typical opportunities we're recruiting for include:

• Senior AI Engineer: £80,000-£110,000

• Lead AI Engineer: £110,000-£140,000+

• AI Engineering Contractors: £600-£1,200+ per day (depending on sector, security clearance and technical expertise)

Recruitment Process

Due to strong client demand, initial CV screening will take place during the week commencing 3rd August, with first-stage interviews scheduled for 4th and 5th August.

To be considered, you'll need hands-on commercial AI engineering experience within Financial Services, Technology or Healthcare. Unfortunately, we're unable to consider candidates whose experience is limited to academic research, personal projects or AI certifications alone.
