The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions using Microsoft technologies. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues. Create and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards. Maintain and optimise SQL Server databases, including writing queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Support deployment activities and monitor applications in production. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems. Required Skills and Experience Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database development. Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and web services. Experience with Git or other version control systems. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Desirable Skills Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, or Blazor. Knowledge of Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core. Experience with Azure cloud services. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines. Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent commercial experience.
