This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a project which will expose the candidate to a wide range of systems, software, skills, expertise and insight. The GIS Technician/Developer is a member of the GIS Team which sits within the BIM Team at the company. The candidate would be responsible for supporting one of the delivery units in SCS with their GIS requests, alongside developing cutting-edge GIS solutions for the wider project. This role would be ideal for a professional with GIS skills in the ESRI suite of software, who also has a good foundation in using ETL tools such as Safe FME for managing efficient workflows and automations.

The successful candidate will have exposure to the latest geospatial technologies being implemented in such a project (Mobile solutions, IoT, 3D/4D in GIS).

The Skanska Costain STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
