Experienced Software Engineer - Growth

We're currently expanding our engineering teams in London and looking for experienced Tech Leads. This is an individual contributor role with technical leadership scope, it's not a people management position.

You'll drive the development of infrastructure features that shape our product's future from UI to database.

The team sits at the intersection of engineering and product strategy, combining A/B testing, user activation, monetization, and performance optimization to drive measurable business impact. Our engineering department consists of multiple groups, each responsible for a critical domain within the company product. With over 350 engineers, we operate in cross functional teams, collaboratively defining, improving, building, and delivering features.

• Play a key in shaping our product architecture and engineering excellence.
• Evolve our architecture and engineering practices to support the ever growing scale of users, features, and data.
• Work alongside experienced and highly skilled developers in a CI/CD environment with cutting edge technologies.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams, taking full ownership and responsibility from conception to post deployment in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Tech Stack: React.js, Redux, TypeScript, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, AWS.

Note: Prior experience with our tech stack is not required; we welcome people willing to learn.

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong technical expertise with a proven track record of building products that people love and use daily.
• Full stack development experience, with a primary focus on Frontend or Backend.
• Experience developing large scale, user facing web products.
• Deep product understanding and a passion for creating software that delivers an exceptional user experience.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and empathy.
• Commitment to quality and simplicity in engineering and product development.
