Post Production Support Specialist (PPSS)
The Post Production Support Specialist supports customers after go-live of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) implementation. Responsibilities include defining client requirements, configuring and tuning the application, training users, testing workflows, resolving issues, and liaising with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate requirements issues while providing product expertise and guidance throughout the post go-live journey.
- Educate customers on methodologies and functionality of CRIMS.
- Advise on best practices regarding implementation and operation of Charles River solutions and services.
- Evaluate customer requirements to identify potential enhancements to Charles River solutions and services.
- Document and communicate product improvements as part of customer specific requirements or in response to marketplace trends.
- Maintain a client issues list and status reporting.
- Train users on existing workflows.
- Gather new asset class, security type, or business line requirements.
- Document requirements and work with Professional Services to assign resources to accomplish deliverables.
- Contribute to software quality by communicating defects to Client Support and Product Management, supporting defect resolution by providing clear defect descriptions and validating fixes.
- Identify errors and successes in documentation and suggest corrections and improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing or supporting mission critical financial solutions, specifically front, middle, or back office investment management systems.
- Hands on experience with order management and compliance systems, preferably within a bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or wealth management firm.
- Substantial experience in one or more of: fixed income, equity financial instruments.
- Understanding of investment management or wealth management workflows, derivatives, and FX instruments.
- Technical knowledge of multi tier technical architectures, relational database structures, SQL, FIX, and reporting tools.
- Strong customer service record and ability to build effective relationships.
- Excellent communication, influencing, time management, and problem solving skills.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in a business or technical field such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Advanced degree or industry certification (e.g., CFA) is a strong plus.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience.
Travel Requirements
Travel as required by the Customer.
