Our client is looking for a Graduate/Junior Level Java Developer to join their team in Nottingham. You will work alongside a mix of senior and junior developers, contributing to new Java software and collaborating both independently and as part of a team. The role offers opportunities for internal progression and skill development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing Java applications using Java SE and J2EE.
• Working with WildFly 8 application server.
• Building RESTful web services using JAX RS.
• Utilizing CDI (Weld) and EJB 3 (Stateless Session Beans) with JPA.
• Writing unit tests with JUnit.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Java development experience.
• Familiarity with Java SE, JDK 7 and J2EE.
• Knowledge of JEE concepts is an advantage.
• Experience with XML, SOAP, Eclipse IDE, UNIX, and version control tools such as Redmine.
