Overview
Derby based specialist Software House are looking for an experienced User Experience Designer / UX Designer to join a growing development/design team and design inclusive, user centric world class design.
Responsibilities
- Creating attractive user experiences for our client's product range
- Applying best practice principles of user centric design focusing on UX
- User experience research and usability testing
- Creating style guides for the developers as well as relevant user research
- Profiling, personas, requirements gathering, user journeys and flows
- Working with development teams to maintain UX governance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial UX design experience and a relevant degree (or equivalent)
- Impressive portfolio showcasing ability to design and present solutions from early sketches with understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision or similar
Desired Skills
- Front end development skills in HTML & CSS
- Strong UI understanding
