Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

Quality Assurance Engineer - up to £35k - Nottingham City Centre

Are you a QA Engineer with manual testing experience and looking to gain further automation testing experience and progress your career? This is an opportunity to work for a global software provider and be a key member of a growing QA test team, focused on flagship and new web applications.

This role offers the chance to join a cutting-edge company and work in a city centre location.

• Develop test plans and test scripts
• Raise issue reports - Jira issues
• Review user documentation

The role requires a tester who is eager to learn, progress, and be a vocal and active member of the team. The candidate should be keen to utilise exploratory testing techniques.

• Minimum 3+ years commercial QA testing experience
• Previous application testing
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing methodologies
• Manual testing
• Exploratory testing
• Programming and scripting language knowledge
• Automated test tools
• Database familiarity, preferably SQL
• Practical knowledge of web-based technologies
