Job Description
SQL Server Application Support Analyst working at 3rd line level with customer contact in the East Midlands. You will write SQL queries, produce reports and analyses, investigate incidents and assist in performance tuning. You will be the technical champion for customers and chair technical open call reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform SQL/data analysis using Microsoft SQL Server, spreadsheets and internal tools to resolve complex support issues; write ad hoc queries for Service Desk operations.
- Provide root cause investigation reports and major incident reports.
- Produce KPIs and ensure SLA compliance.
- Assist in investigations of latency and performance.
- Monitor the Service Dashboard and respond to alerts.
- Communicate effectively with customers, manage expectations and maintain high attention to detail.
Required Skills
- Experience with SSRS/SSIS/SSAS, SQL Server, PL/SQL.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.
- Self starter with ability to manage client expectations.
