This software house based near Nottingham (though some remote working is available) is looking to recruit a skilled and hungry Graduate/Junior Software Tester to join their software test team as part of their ongoing software development demands. You will be given responsibility to develop and contribute to the current testing procedures and methods, utilising manual testing methodologies. Working closely with the developers and engineers you will ensure the highest standard of software quality through methodical and systematic testing of enhancements and bug fixes at the earliest possible stage in the development process.

• Define testing approach and conduct exploratory testing
• Modify test cases and execute test scripts
• Gather, report, and monitor test metrics and defect analysis
• Assist in developing and contributing to testing procedures and methods

• 6+ months commercial experience or a relevant placement year
• Strong experience in manual testing
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies (V Model, Waterfall, Agile)
• Experience in black box/white box testing and test case design
• Any coding experience and automation knowledge would be beneficial

The salary on offer is up to £27K, with some remote working available as well as an attractive benefits package.

The office is based near Nottingham though commutable from the surrounding East Midlands area including Derby, Loughborough, Leicester, etc.
