IT Support Engineer - SQL Server
Location: London
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + 25 days holiday, Pension, Bonus
Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Engineer / Systems Administrator to manage the company's ERP solutions (SAGE, Epicor, Navision) and SQL Server, as well as provide 1st line support for internal staff and collaborate with a third party IT service provider.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support SQL Server based and ERP systems.
- Manage daily operations of the ERP solution and associated business applications.
- Provide 1st line support for all internal staff and oversee the internal IT environment.
- Coordinate with third party IT service suppliers and manage the relationship.
- Participate in migration and upgrade projects.
- Assist in building reports using MS Access, SQL, PowerBI or Business Objects.
Qualifications
- Experience working with SQL Server and ERP systems such as SAGE, Epicor, Navision.
- Knowledge of MS Windows, Linux, MS Office, Outlook, Excel and Access.
- Experience with third party IT service suppliers.
- Strong problem solving skills and confidence to work as the sole IT administrator.
- Commercial awareness and ability to collaborate with senior management to shape IT strategy.
- Experience with report generation using MS Access, SQL, PowerBI or Business Objects is advantageous.
