We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to provide security operations and incident handling, along with vulnerability testing and management. Ideal candidates have experience in a SOC role and are progressing towards ethical hacking qualifications such as CEH, OSCP or GIAC.

Key responsibilities

• Support hosted cloud services and product development teams.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.
• Use security technologies including NGFW, WAF, SEIM, web application testing and vulnerability scanners.
• Apply risk management frameworks such as ISO27002, NCSC Critical Controls and ISAE3402.

Qualifications and experience

• Passion for security in software, technology, the Internet and cloud computing.
• Experience with current cyber threats, attacks and incident handling practices including host and network forensics.
• Proficient with security technologies and tools (NGFW, WAF, SEIM, vulnerability scanners).
• Knowledgeable of governance and risk frameworks.
