• Develop and improve current testing procedures and methods, utilising both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Work closely with software engineers to ensure the highest standard of software quality through methodical and systematic testing of enhancements and bug fixes at the earliest possible stage in the development process.
• Define testing approach.
• Modify test cases.
• Execute test scripts.
• Gather, report and monitor test metrics and defect analysis.
• Perform regression and performance testing.

• Senior Software Tester experience with desktop software.
• Ability to establish testing within a company as first ever tester.
• ISEB/ISTQB qualified.
• Familiar with geometry and maths.
• Experience with manual testing; automated testing experience is nice to have.

The salary on offer is £30,000 - £35,000, cross training into automation, bonus, 25 days holidays, pension plan.

The office is based in the West Midlands, easily commutable from Solihull, Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Free parking but accessible by public transport.
