Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer/Service Desk Analyst to join the IT team during a significant change. This well established, award winning company has grown during the pandemic, opened new sites, and invested in a multi million pound technology initiative. They have an impressive history and an exciting future.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for phone calls and emails regarding IT and software issues and queries.
  • Escalate unresolved calls to L3 and infrastructure support team.
  • Maintain an Asset Database and track changes.
  • Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status, communicating progress in a timely manner.
  • Publish support documentation to assist staff with requests for information.
  • Report to Team Lead on any issue that could significantly impact the business.

Candidate profile:

  • 2+ years of IT Support Desk experience (or equivalent).
  • Self motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Excellent organisational and problem solving ability.
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to multi task effectively.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Service Desk Team by working together to improve existing processes and technical understanding.

Salary and benefits: £25,000-£30,000 pending experience, pension, free parking. Commutable from Leicester, Nottingham & Derby. Office based role.
