Senior SQL Application Support - Nottingham - 35K

SQL Server Application Support Analyst role within a global client in the East Midlands. This position focuses on 3rd line support, managing complex SQL queries, reports, and customer issues. The administrator will handle incident investigations, root cause analysis, and will engage with customers.

• SQL and data analysis - querying Microsoft SQL Server and using spreadsheets/internal tools to analyze complex support issues; writing ad hoc queries for the Service Desk.
• Providing root cause investigation reports and major incident reports.
• Producing KPIs and working to SLA benchmarks.
• Assisting with investigations of latency and performance.
• Monitoring the Service Dashboard and responding to alerts.
• Maintaining excellent communication, managing client expectations, and ensuring strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of SSRS/SSIS/SSAS, SQL Server, PL/SQL, and strong customer service skills.

Experience in 3rd line application support and problem solving.
