Role: Leicester eCommerce-based client with a history spanning 50 years + looking for a C# MVC developer to work in a small team and look after their eCommerce platform as well as internal business systems. The role will encompass both new development in C#, soon to be moving across to .Net Core and supporting and transitioning the legacy software written in VB.Net. The role will be split 80/20 in favour of new development. Reporting directly to the Director you will be supporting the business from a software and IT prospective and must be comfortable helping a small internal team with basic IT requirements such as AD resets etc.

This role is a full stack job but you don't need to be an expert in front end development as long as you have strong C#, MVC and SQL, basic JS, CSS, HTML will get you through and you can learn on the job.

This company will give you all the necessary training you need and give you access to 3rd parties should you need it.

Technical environment: C#, .Net, WEB API, ASP.Net, SQL Server, T-SQL, JavaScript, CSS

As the Software Developer, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Project Management, Specification writing, Development, and Delivery as well as support.
• Creation of business reports.
• Working closely with the senior management team, presenting ideas on how to move technology forward including moving to the cloud.
