Responsibilities

Role: A software house based in Coventry is looking to recruit a skilled Software Tester to join their software development team. Responsibilities include:

• Develop and contribute to the current testing procedures and methods, utilizing both manual and automated testing methodologies (full training provided).
• Work closely with the software engineers to ensure the highest standard of software quality through methodical and systematic testing of enhancements and bug fixes at the earliest possible stage in the development process.

Qualifications

The skills required for the role as the Software Tester are:

• Define testing approach and enjoy exploratory testing.
• Modify test cases and execute test scripts.
• 3+ years of commercial testing experience.
• Gathering, reporting, and monitoring test metrics and defect analysis.
• Any coding experience and automation knowledge would be beneficial.

Salary & Benefits

The salary on offer is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, with cross training into automation as well as an attractive benefits package.

Location

The office is based in Coventry in the East Midlands, easily commutable from Leicester, Derby, Birmingham and Coventry - and is accessible by public transport.
