SQL Server DBA, SQL Server Database Administrator, SQL Server 2012 - 2016 Performance Tuning, Optimisation, Backup and Recovery, T SQL, RDBMS, SSRS/SSIS, Powershell, MongoDB - Global Software House - K.
This role involves performance tuning, query optimisations, support and administration of SQL and data warehousing environments, data cleansing, backup & restore best practices, assisting IT/IS with complex queries, and contributing to product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Database and query performance tuning and optimisation
- Writing Transact SQL stored procedures
- Day to day support and administration of all SQL and data warehousing environments
- Data cleansing and correction work, performance tuning, capacity planning
- Archiving, backup, and restore best practices including security
- Assisting the wider IT/IS division with complex database queries
- Contributing to product improvements, ease of use, reliability and reducing support levels
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with SQL Server 2012 - 2016
- SSRS, SSIS, SSAS proficiency
- PowerShell experience; MongoDB preferred (training will be provided)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with the wider business
- On call availability as part of the on call team
