Our client is a global IT Services & Software House leading the way in innovation and technical excellence. Due to an internal restructure they now have a vacancy for a Senior Level Infrastructure Engineer / Designer to be a key player. This Infrastructure Engineer role will find you being hands on from a project prospective. You will design, build, implement and have project delivery responsibility. There will no hands on BAU support, this will be handed over, but we need you to still get stuck in, take responsibility for these infrastructure projects by heading up meetings with key stakeholders and managing from initial design through to implementation.

• Experience of working in a similar level Infrastructure Engineer / Designer role
• Experience of working with platforms: MS Windows, Cloud/Azure and Virtualisation
• Experience of reviewing architecture such as Backup and recovery, Storage, Hosting, Networks and Security
• Attend regular seminars and technical events to ensure knowledge, allowing for improvements and the introduction of new technology
• Experience of responding to and resolving complex incidents
• Hands on design, build, implementation and delivery of infrastructure projects
• Manage meetings with key stakeholders and lead project from initial design through to implementation
