CNC Miller (Setter/Operator + ideally Programmer) - 1434

CNC Miller (Setter/Operator + ideally Programmer) - Job reference 1434. Permanent position based in Sittingbourne. Salary from £18.00 per hour, depending on skill level. Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm (Friday finish 3:00pm). 39-hour week. Overtime paid at time and a half when required.

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis Haas) and read/interpret engineering drawings.
• Program using CAD/CAM where applicable; offline programming is an advantage.
• Adjust and change tooling as needed; maintain good knowledge of cutting tools.
• Work with a variety of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel and titanium.

• Experience with CAD/CAM programming (preferred).
• Experience with Heidenhain control (preferred).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Setting / Operating / Programming experience.
