Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain cross platform web and mobile applications using Angular, Ionic, Capacitor and .NET technologies.
- Work closely with architects, product owners, UX designers, QA engineers and fellow developers to deliver high quality software that makes a real difference.
- Build and integrate secure .NET REST APIs.
- Develop and deploy cloud based solutions using AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure applications are secure, high performing, maintainable and scalable.
- Write clean, reusable and well tested code following coding standards and best practices.
- Carry out code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentoring to other developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while driving continuous improvement across development, testing and deployment processes.
- Champion modern development practices and contribute to technical innovation within the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' commercial experience developing applications with Angular.
- At least 3 years' commercial experience developing cross platform mobile applications using Ionic.
- Experience building and consuming .NET REST APIs.
- Experience working with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation and CodeBuild.
- Experience using Capacitor for Android and iOS application builds and releases.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- A proactive, self motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) (desirable).
- Experience with responsive application development (desirable).
- Unit testing frameworks and automated testing practices (desirable).
- Mobile application security best practices (desirable).
- Familiarity with modern development and code quality tools (desirable).
- Experience with Optimizely (desirable).
- Knowledge of SQL Server and NoSQL databases (desirable).
