As an Apprentice Data Cabling Engineer, you will learn how to deploy both copper and fibre cabling solutions, including the installation, termination and testing.
You will be taught not only the differences between Category 5e through to Category 6A & multi-mode and single-mode fibres but also the way that such cabling is installed, terminated and tested.
You will be guided throughout this apprenticeship as part of the team by experienced data cabling installers.
With installations being carried out in a wide range of environments from commercial offices, industrial buildings to Schools and Colleges throughout the UK; we are looking for a new apprentice data cabling engineer who is looking to learn a growing trade.
The ideal candidate shall be hardworking, reliable and have an excellent attitude to hands on working.
You will be working with a broad range of hand and power tools, abiding by health & safety legislation is a large part of this role.
The ideal candidate shall be open to working evenings and away from home.
Although a driving license is not essential for this role, but it is beneficial.
As this position is for an apprentice trainee position, experience is not required.
