CNC Miller (3 Axis) - Siemens Controls
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £18.00+ per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Our client is a well established precision engineering company based in Tamworth, supplying high quality precision components to a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled machining team.
This is a permanent days based position working on a variety of precision components. The successful candidate will be machining predominantly small batch work, ranging from one off prototypes through to batches of around 10 off, requiring a high level of attention to detail and quality.
Responsibilities
- Setting and operating 3 axis CNC milling machines.
- Working with Siemens controls.
- Producing precision components from engineering drawings.
- Manufacturing one off and small batch components.
- Working to tight tolerances of up to 0.001mm.
- Carrying out self inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Good knowledge of Siemens controls.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience producing high precision components to tight tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience within a precision engineering environment.
